Morning everyone! I need a little help. What are some things I need to know when meeting with a videographer/cinematographer? Let me know what questions are important to ask. Thanks!

Re: Video Questions...
ask if you get all the raw footage as well as the edited copy. Also, how many final copies you get.

Re: Video Questions...
Video: What format is video shot in? Who is doing video? Video (DVD) and raw footage How many hours? Overtime price? How long will it take to get my video? Highlight reel/trailer included or extra?
How long will final video be?

Re: Video Questions...
Another one to ask is whether the same person shooting the video also edits the video. If the shooter is also an editor, he/she will know what shots to look for to make the video really come together and having been at the wedding will get a better feel for how to present the footage in a way that is as representative of the whole day as possible.
ETA - You may also want to ask about Blu-ray discs if that is something that is important to you/your family as DVDs slowly continue to become obsolete.

Re: Video Questions...
Thanks everyone so much for your question suggestions!
We met with AJ last night and we LOVE HIM. I wanted to speak to my mother first about everything (i'm such a baby i gotta run everything past my mom first to get her approval) before I booked. I showed her his work this morning and she said BOOK HIM. I'll be getting in touch with him today if I get a chance. It's so weird too bc we actually have a mutual friend!
Thank you to all the ladies that suggested we meet with him!
