Videographer???

So my FH and I met with Capture the Moment and we LOVED her! Her prices are so reasonable and she also just worked a friend of ours wedding. I am pretty sure we will go with Capture the Moment. But we want to make sure we do our homework and see if there are any other suggestions out there? We are spending most of our budget on our photographer John Lennon, but we still want a decent video. We don't want to spend more then $1800. Any suggestions?

If it ends up being in our budget, we'd like to book a videographer and were thinking about Capture the Moment also. Their rates seem the most reasonable and I really like their videos! I've seen good reviews for them on here :)

Mines is LJR Films he's even more affordable then capture the moment but it's all purely based on preference I'm a fan of AJ ingolia and J castillo but I found LJR Films and decided not to meet w anyone else because we clicked and after watching several of his videos I couldn't tell the difference btwn his and some of the higher cinematographers.
One more great videographer is GT modern creations.

I'm actually meeting with a photographer and videographer this weekend. I wanted to stay away from the ones that are advertised on wedding sites hoping the prices would be better, they're called Cosmopolitan Film & Studios they're in the city. They have a website and are willing to give quotes via email. I got quoted $1500 for 8 - 10 hrs with 2 videographers, a 90 min edited video and more.

He's amazing and his packages vary depending on your budget. I think his most basic one is about 2000 or less, I can't remember for sure. But the basic one would mean less coverage and only 1 videographer, if you're ok with that.

FH and I have been looking around and prices vary tremendously. I have seen some work that I like, love, and don't like. I am so confused as what to do. FH and I have narrowed down the photographer but video it is more difficult. I spoke with one company whose work I love, they quoted me $6,000.00 for their basic package. If FH and I want a 3-5 minute highlight video that would be an additional $1000. ***? It amazes me that companies get away with charging that much money!

Sorry had to rant... kind of on topic.

I know I've done a ton of research and some of the prices are ridiculous! We haven't met w/anyone else since capture the moment. my fh has to go to london for work for 2 weeks so now I'm at a standstill. I want to make sure we make a decision soon because I'm worried prices will continue to go up the longer we wait.
