Videographer pissing me off! Help

Hey, I am new to this website. I am hoping to get some insight on a problem I am having with my photographer/videographer. I was married on 8/4/12. I Paid my photog/videographer $4k it took almost a year to get my photos back and 15 months for the albums and video. Unfortunately my wedding video skips really bad when my bridal party is walking down the isle of the church. I told the photographer about this as soon as I received the video. His response was he will see what he can do. He keeps telling me for about 7 months that he is waiting to hear back from the videographer. They are all the same company. I am getting nowhere and I am so sick of dealing with these people. I am a paid client. I'm devastated that nothing is being done by them. And I Don't even think they are going to do anything about it. I'm sick of getting the run around. What do you girls suggest I do? Please send some advice my way. Thank you so much.

I'm guessing you already paid them the full balance. If you haven't then I would let them know you want this matter settled and once it is you'll finish paying. Honestly I would be extremely angry and I would go off on them as much as I could. I'm not sure if I have any advice really besides calling as much as you can but it sounds like you have been. I'm sorry I wasn't a big help but I hope it works out for you in the end. Good luck.

Thanks for your suggestions! Yes unfortunately he is paid in full. I actually just decided to send him another email saying my next step is contacting my attorney. Thank you again!

Make sure he knows that if you don't get the product you paid for you'll not only be in touch with your attorney but also with the better business bureau and every website for reviews including yelp. I took yelp reviews extremely seriously when looking for my photographer

Can anyone suggest what to do if the video can not be fixed? Should I ask for the amount be refunded in full or partially?

I would want a full refund or demand all the raw footage to see if you can find another editor that can actually do the work.

Thank you girls! What sucks is both raw footage and edited version skips. I threatened legal action so let's see what he says now lol

Absolutely yes. You very well may have to get an attorney involved and file a small claims action. You should also contact the BBB and the State Attorney General's Office to file consumer complaints.
