Hello everybody! Thank you for all your suggestions on my other post for videographer recommendations. I've spent all day looking at them and I have 5 that I really like and that seem to keep coming up on these boards. I know its a lot, but hopefully this poll will help me narrow them down!
TIA

Re: Videographer POLL
well I used Pennylane so i can only comment on them. I absolutely LOOOVE them, they do an amazing job and it was exactly the style i wanted. All their video's blow me away. Adam is also the nicest guy and so great to work with
The others, ive only seen work by timeless treasure and i thought their videos were amazing too and very modern which i like
the others i havent seen so cant comment
what price range are you looking to spend? that can really help with your decision bc all those videographers vary greatly in price, so that might help you

Well, I think my limit would be pennylane so I guess that doesn't help much for narrowing things down. Originally I didn't even want Videography but my DOC Francesca got me with the question 'How would you have liked to have seen your grandma's wedding video' lol. I would have loved it! So I decided if I'm going to get a videographer then I'm going all out and getting the best one I can find! :)

yeah i feel the same way, hey even with my parents i say i wish i could see a video of their wedding ya know. Plus the second your wedding is over you think OMG what just happened, its over it seriously flies and its such a blur. I heard about things that happened and now would love to see it. For example as the bride and groom you never see the bridal party entrances at the church or at RH, and i wanna see that. Seeing your guests enjoying themselves and all the moments you missed. Plus i look at my pics of BIL's speech and i am histerically laughing, i remember it was real funny but also so touching but i cant remember exactly what was said so will be great to hear his speech again. Also just to be able to actually see you exchange vows, it felt surreal but to stand back and see what others saw and to hear those words again. Even first dance, to be able to watch yourselves from afar actually dancing and the emotions.
I would say to def meet with adam at pennylane, he is great. Just see how you feel about them after you meet with him.

Re: Videographer POLL
I would also suggest meeting with each of these vendors. It may seem like alot but it's a very important choice. Tell them to show you samples of fast and romantic edits.
You will learn that the music the bride selects and personal preference will dictate the type of editing the videographers will do. You want to see the extremes to get a sense of range.
Have fun....I enjoyed making this decision. Maybe only you and a friend want to go to the initial meetings...bring FH once you narrow it down for round 2.
OH! 1 more to throw in there- Mittermax. He has some videos on youtube. GOOD LUCK

Re: Videographer POLL
we used timeless treasures so of course that is my vote! they were so fantastic to work with and we just got all of our footage back and we are in LOVE with it! i just watched our recap AGAIN on my iphone on the train tonight and i love it every time.
have you contacted the vendors? some of them may already be booked for your day so that will help you narrow it down.

hey thanks for the input! I checked with all the vendors and they're all available for my wedding date so that doesn't help with narrowing down either

Re: Videographer POLL
I used Bellarino so I can only comment about them! I haven't received the video yet, but Phil & Kate are really great to work from start to finish. I don't think Phil put the camera down during the entire reception; whenever I looked around I noticed he was there with his camera.
I suggest you meet with each of them in person. I'm a strong believer in choosing a vendor whose personality matches yours; if you don't feel comfortable with a vendor before the wedding, then no matter how great their other work is, you may not be pleased with them during or after the wedding. Also, just because you've heard good things about a vendor from others doesn't mean that they are right for you.
Good luck!

i used Wild Rose & love my video...(got the least expensive package)...never noticed the camera during the wedding...they are not 'in your face' and Marie & Bill were a pleasure to work with.

Re: Videographer POLL
hands down Pennylane! After we met with adam you could just tell he loves what he does and it shows in his work. He showed us a video he had done with the package we were getting and I was in tears...and I didn't even know these people in the video!

Re: Videographer POLL
HAHAHAHA!!!!
I was looking at pennylane posts in brides helping brides, and there is this one bride, I think she was like the first one to use him on here, back in 2003 that paid $1,200 for his services!!!! lol. Uhh...I think pennylanes prices may just have gone up a tiny bit!
