The reason I did not use a photographer/video package is because I found that those videos were not as nice as the video only companies, but cost the same or only a bit less. Also, the video only companies seemed the have better equipment and were more creative. I think that is because their business depends on one thing only, not getting brides because of a photo contract. I don't need George Lucas directing my wedding video but I do want the day captured as nicely as possible. But the nice thing is that we have lots of choses on LI so we can get the vendors that we each like best.

Such nice people! I wish they were a little more affordable or I had more money lol but i am sure all of you who are gonna use them will be pleased.
I am gonna give VIP video a chance but I do see how a strictly video place would make you feel like you were in better hands, but maybe there is one that cheaper.

Another T&T Video vote here...
I used them for my video (and so did my sister 5 years ago) and it came out AWESOME (I've posted before on this) and like bride 2003 said, Hal is a pleasure to deal with!!! His prices are very reasonable and are within your budget! My videographer was Jim and he was a joy to deal with also!! I would definitely check them out!!!

We took package #2 at Bellarino video it was 1100.00 the prices start at 800.00 and go up to about 1400.00 deoending on what you want. The name of the owner is Ralph Tirrino. the website is www.Bellarinoproductions.com, thet are located in Bellmore (Nassau county) across from Golds gym. Just to let you know usually the photographer sub contracts the video. You usually pay the same price because he will get a break from the videographer. This way you can deal with one place and save time. I had the time and I chose Classic Video in Commack. They do really nice work.
