Check out Wild Rose

I saw keepsake on Flowerfields vendor list, but they advertised two videographers, I believe. We went with Wild Rose video.

videographers

We're using Platinum Video. It's a one man operation which is great. You know who you're getting. His work is very unique. He makes your video so personal. He gets everything. Even the food prep, and how it looks before everyone attacks it. I think this is a plus, because you never get to see what it really looks like. This is just one of many different shots that'll make your video beautiful. He also has very unique techniques on how to get shots. He does the slow motion, music in the background, but none of that, well to us, cheesy animations either. I love computer graphics, but not on your wedding video. We're getting the short form edit version on DVD also, besides on VHS. You should definitely check them out. Like I said in an earlier post, we checked out at least 4 videographers. All of them had a factory look to them. They all seemed to have the same style, and the same shots. Pete at Platinum is different. Believe me, you'll love his work. You can even send for a demo video. Of course it's better if you actually talk in person, because he goes through everything that's going on, and also tells you what you can do to add to it. Also, if you have anything that you would like for him to do, he's very open to ideas. I found with other companies that you can't really edit it yourself. You don't edit it completely yourself, but things you don't want in it, and do want in it, the music, etc. you get to decide on it, not the company. Anyway, I'm babbling, good luck on your search. If you have any other questions let me know.

videographers-JR Video

We just booked JR Video for our wedding. We met with Kelly, she was very nice to deal with and not pushy at all. She answered all our questions Very similar style to Platinum Video, like Melissa mentioned in that they capture the way everything looks before anyone touches it especially the cocktail hour displays. The way the ballroom looks with everything set just so. That was important to me since I want to see how all our planning came together :) Also included with our package is the slow-motion, the background music and very tastful effects, as well as, 3 VHS videos and we got a free Chapter DVD copy, and of course an 'unedited' version. Good Luck with whoever you choose :)

Wild Rose

I looked at 6 video companies and I think Wild Rose is wonderful. They are a family-owned and operated company. When looking make sure you ask about what type of lighting they use. Guests do not like those huge spotlights in their eyes. Also, what type of sound equiptment do they use? When you watch the demo ask to see a non-demo tape too. And LISTEN to the Vows. Can you hear them? It is not hard to tape dancing, but it is hard to get a ceremony perfect. Just feel comfortable with who you chose. The camera person is with you ALL day, just like the photographer.
