Videography/Cinematography Help!
One of my biggest struggles with the planning process has been finding someone for video....particularly good quality at a reasonable price. I think the issue I'm having is that the ceremony is in Long Island City, Queens around 1:15PM and the reception is in Massapequa at whatever time we ultimately choose to start cocktail hour (probably 6 or 6:30). SOOOOO accounting for Friday traffic between the two sites with probably 45 minutes of travel time, doing photos at the church and then in Bethpage (probably 1.5 hours) , the coverage time needs to be at least 10 to 12 hours. Trying to find someone for video under $2000 with that amount of coverage is proving to be impossible. Unfortunately, those that do fit that criteria seem to be behind the times with 1980s ish filming styles or poor video quality, which I absolutely don't want, and would rather have no video. I was very very lucky to find a photojournalistic style photographer for full day coverage (no specific hour constraints), 2 photographers, all photos edited, and one album for $2K (only $500 down and the rest of the payment due when the photos are ready). Unfortunately I have not been able to strike gold with my videography search though
Can anyone please please give me some suggestions and point me in the right direction, share your quotes, pretty pleeease??

I'm using capture the moment and I'm getting 8 hours of coverage (not doing getting ready video and shell leave after the cake is cut an hour before reception ends). Even if I added two more hours I'd still be under 2K. Fm me if you want specific priding details. Her prices are also on her website.

The prices look reasonable, except I'm worried that the package we'd need for enough coverage says 2599, but we really only need 1 videographer, not 2 so this could be negotiable! Has anyone ever heard of Lexoria wedding films? They're having a sale on their packages with up to 600 off.
