Videography & Photography Price Range

Hi everyone!

I was looking around for videography and photography pricing and keep researching that videography and photography are about $3K-$4K each, so a total package would be close to $10K. Is that too much? I'm new to all this so was hoping maybe someone could give me a better idea as to what is reasonable and what isn't. If you've booked things separately with different vendors, what price range do you feel is fair?

I got 2 photographers for $2,500 and 2 videogrpahers with a trailer for $3,000. I was quoted by others about 8-9k and it just wasnt realistic

Thank you SO much for your input!! Yea, not only is the venue a lot, but so are all the extras. I'm going a little crazy :)

I paid $4500 for both photo/video but there are vendors who go OVER $8000 which is ridiculous. Yes a picture is worth a 1000 words and will last forever but it's crazy for vendors to use that to their advantage. Photo/video should never be half the cost of the venue. That's just my opinion. I loved working with Patken and I was very happy with my package if you want to give them a call for prices. Good luck planning. Don't let it stress you, just brush off the ridiculous pricing and enjoy this time in your life.

We're spending about $5700 between both. But we went with different companies because the photographer we loved didn't offer the style of video we wanted and were a little pricey. You don't have to use the same vendor for both. Definitely shop around.

I do know that 456 Weddings had a good photo and video rate with free engagement shoot, album and DVD for under $4k to start.

I'm using Park Ave Studios in Sayville. I booked photography and videography through them. My cost is just over $5,000. I added some things to that package as well, such as a drone for the videography.
