So we booked Sherwood Triart for photo and video a while back, and put down deposits about both. Now I'm hearing the Wild Rose is so awesome, and I'm thinking I should look at prices, because Sherwood Triart is so expensive and I'm not even getting a baby photo montage. That is $500 more. If I did want to hire Wild Rose, do you think I could ask Sherwood Triart to take the $$$ I put down for their video and put that towards the payment for the photo? Or would that be insulting and lead to more trouble in dealing with them for my photos?

Ack! just looked at Wild Rose prices, and they are about the same as ST's if I add the baby photo montage. Are they really worth the money?

We used Wild Rose and they were amazing! I don't know what to tell you to do, but I will say that I wouldn't worry about hurting their feeling if you want to change...you need to LOVE the final copy. If you were happy with your Videographers, then don't fret...if you want to see some of Wild Rose's work.... Click here

could you try talking with your current videographer and negotiate with them? Tell them what you like about Wild Rose's videos and maybe see if they could work with you. HTH

i booked sherwood also but not for video..i booked l j morelli for video....im not crazy about the video they offered at sherwood, and for that price, tony is an honest guy and i think if you go talk to huim and tell him honestly that your not into it then he will consider putting your momney to the photos or give it back....trust me, ask tony ..not earl...take a look at LJMORELLI.com his work is amazing and affordable...

If you are looking for work for that is comparable if not better then Wild Rose you should check out Amore Productions. They are a vendor on here. You can check out a sample of his work on his web site at amorevideos.com. But you really should check out his demo it is amazing. My friend used Mike, the owner of Amore, for her wedding and her video came out beautiful.

Hmm... I don't know. I booked with Sherwood Triart tonight so I just read the fine details in the contract. It says 'Customer will be subject to 50% of the cost of the contract in the event of cancellation' and that the retainer is non-refundable. But everyone I met with there was so nice, so maybe they would be willing to put the payment towards your photographs. It's worth it to ask.
