This is actually my very first post. I just wanted to get your advice about the video and photo.
What do you think of this price?
about $9,000, including
2 photographers day of wedding (one of them for the entire day, including the getting ready part) photo or video thank you cards 16x20 photo large bride & groom album 2 parents' albums 2 videographers day of the wedding, with fully edited video love story (10 minutes) includes the screen for the love story this also includes a next day shooting in case I feel that there will be photos that we'll miss on the day of the wedding.
Is this reasonable?

I think it seems alittle high. granted you are getting alot of stuff, but I think if you shopped around you could find cheaper

From what i've seen around here... (now i havent shopped around myself) but i think you can get that kinda package for like 2-3k cheaper elsewhere

your best bet is to shop around and then compare....that sounds a bit high

I think that seems high. I also don't think it is really necessary to have 2 videographers.

Does sound a bit high... Dunno if you need two videographers and photographers but that's your decision... I would say to look at Patken. I'm getting photo/vid, e-shoot, albums/dvds and screens for about 6k. Even if you don't look into them, I would say to still look around

is this a standard package, or do you really want all these features?
I can understand wanting 2 photographers, but 2 videographers, and some of the other bells and whistles seem like a lot to me, unless you are having a HUGE wedding with 300+ guests.....
just think it over a bit...... and get other estimates
the most important thing, though, is the artistic quality of the sample albums (done by your specific photographers). you frankly only need 50-75 great shots..... so rather than shopping for quanitity of proofs and packages, book the most skilled photographer /videographer you can afford.....

It really depends on who the vendor is, if its someone like Bartleby Draper, then that's a pretty good deal. If its your run of the mill photographer/videographer then that's on the expenzive side.

I think that's a little high. I'm spending $6,000 for photo and video and I thought even that was too much but we really like their work. I would defenitely shop around.
