mine is also 15 pp ... I havent decided what to do yet. I dont think it is necessary but I do think it would be nice to add an hour to the party!

VH is my favorite party of a wedding and i was recently at one where there wasnt a VH hour and that was the talk of the next day among friends (yea we gossip).
I like the idea of giving people boxes/bags, anyone come across a RH not allowing it?
Personally I cannot do without a VH, so i would pay the extra $

We're paying that at my reception hall too unfortunately. But yet the weddings I have been to that have it I have always seen everyone love it!!

i got my viennese for $5 pp in its not an extra hour added on.....but they did throw in an extra half hour
i LOVE vienese hr i wouldve prolly paid the $15 if i had to, plus if u do get the extra hour its a great deal....they will prolly go down to $10 when u negotiate

That does seem like a lot per person to charge but I gotta say that every wedding I have been to where there was a Vienesse Hour EVERYONE was up and grabbing stuff from it. It's definitely a nice addition and if you could afford it, I'd say go for it. But, on the flip side, if you didn't have one, I don't think it would matter - everyone will still have a great time at the wedding and probably wouldn't notice you didn't have one.

I, personally, don't think it's necessary. People are generally too stuffed to take advantage of the VH. Mine, however, includes the VH.
Did you consider giving a treat-related parting gift to the guests as opposed to a non-food related one?

Wow! I can't believe so many of you girls are getting a VH, it wasn't even discussed at my booking. I haven't been to a wedding on the East Coast in years, and the few I've been to on the West Coast have been FH's friends and they've been a little cheapy, so nothing of the sort was there.
Now I'm thinking back to my menu card for the RH and trying to remember what the charge was for the VH and if its worth it!

If your RH is the Woodlands then it is totally worth it! We went to DH's cousins wedding there and it was amazing!!!! $15 is a lot though. I would try and work that down.
