If anyone is getting one, can you tell me what your hall charges (including tax!!)?? I'm going back and forth regarding whether or not we could afford it and whether it would be worth it. I'd like to see the average price of them so I can maybe negotiate with Villa's. Thanks!!!

Re: Viennese Hour???
hmm.....i am getting one - but i don't think it exceeded an extra $10 pp...i negotiated mine in before i signed the contract. i NEEDED a viennese hour.
i would also recommend that you wait on making the decision. my cousin got married @ chateau briand and was flip flopping with viennese hour as well. each payment that she went there to make she talked about it with them - and the price kept dropping. it started @ $12 and i believe she ended up paying $7 pp...
good luck...

Wow, if I can negotiate a price like that, it may be worth it. On the one hand, the viennese is an awesome and impressive display. On the other hand, will people be too full to even eat anything? I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do. What I do know is that Villas quoted me 8pp (which comes to $10 pp) for just a chocolate fountain! I'm like, that's wayyyy over my budget!!!

I was quoted 12pp at my hall . We went with mini viennese on the table....plus we also have a plated desert being served.

Re: Viennese Hour???
We priced it at Villa Lombardi's, it was I think $15 extra per person (I'm not positive about this now) but we had to base it on a minimum of 100 people, so basically the Viennese would cost us a minimum of $1,500. This was just at our initial meeting, I'm sure that they would modify the cost if you negotiate with them closer to your wedding date.
We are getting a full Viennese hour at Fox Hollow because we eliminated the carving stations and passed hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour. Dessert is so important to us. If we could have only a cocktail hour and then a Viennese hour and skip dinner, we would!

i am a sweets fanatic - and i told FH i would rather have Viennese hour than dinner @ my wedding. they are the whole reason i go to weddings - i am like a little sugar rushed a$$ - so that being my favorite part - i had to have it at my own. i got one better than a chocolate fountain - ZEPPOLE STATION!!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!

Re: Viennese Hour???
I believe my hall charge me 10/person + tax. I think it will be too much. I asked some of my friends, and they said it's too much and besides that people already full.
and one of my friends who just got marry last year told me.. there was still lots of left over, and they can't take it home.
don't go crazy w/ that if you can't afford it but it just my opinion.
and besides that we will have a wedding cake and dessert provide by my hall.

I just wanted to add that Villa Lombardi's and Fox Hollow will pack up the desserts from the Viennese hour and send them home with you.
