Viennese hour - boxes to go

HI Girls,

We are going to have Viennese hour and I am trying to figure out boxes to go for deserts:
- There will be around 200-230 people – is 100 boxes enough?
- What the best size? I found some cute ones on efavormart but my FH is saying that they might be small – 4X2X2. I checked papermart but min size is 250 boxes – definitely don’t need so many.
- I am thinking to order plain simple ones and then get a stamp or soothing like that with our names or just thank you

Has anyone ordered these boxes before?

I was debating this same thing (except i'm doing chinese take out boxes for mine!) I have about the same number of guests and plan on using 100. I cant imagine every person taking stuff to go. Plus, if they are staying at the hotel, they have no where to keep it cold for the next day (if it's required) I think that's plenty and if it's not, not the end of the world! They can always the hall if there is a bag or something they can take to go.

Yeah, i am not a fan of chinese boxes - I think deserts might crash in them. Most of the guests are locals, so I am sure they will take some sweets home and I want them to. I guess I will continue my search

My hall definitely does this. Ask most halls will probably offer this complimentary w your viennese hour.

If your hall doesn't provide it, try oriental trading.

Did you ask your hall? I was going to purchase boxes too but good thing I didn't because the hall told us that they provided them. They also told us that it was standard that if you're paying for a Viennese hour that they provide you with to-go bags. I'd definitely ask before spending any unnecessary money!
