Hi, Just wondering if anyone has gotten the Viennese Hour added at NO extra charge? If so, where are you getting married and how did you get it added for FREE? We are trying to get my SIL the Viennese for free at the Sandcastle or at least for a discounted price. Thanks for your help!! Jamie

This is not easy to get since it is $15pp.
A good chance is if you already have a couple of other extra's, you are having a large wedding so they are making alot of money off of you regardless.

That was the first thing my BM asked me if we wanted the VH. My VH was incorporated in my price per person and I got many extras. I dont think your RH will give it to you for free but you can always ask them to give it to you for a better price

I got the mini viennese for free. My FH was just asking about the chocolate covered strawberrries, and our BM just offered the mini viennese for free!! I didn't want the full one anyway (we think it is too much extra food that will get wasted in the end) so we were very happy to get the mini one for free!!!!

The larkfield manor threw in a free viennese hour, that was our 2nd choice, but we ending up deciding on chateau briand, they discounted it for us.

we were offered it, but didn't really want it so we were not thinking and when we went the next day to do our contract they 'forgot' they offered it to us. But we didn't really care cus it was going to be too much food. But we were dumb and should have gotten it in writing!

Hi! I did not get my vianese hour for free but they did discount it from $15 to $5 extra pp. I booked at North Ritz Club. And she threw that in the second time we went there, and we weren't even ready to book at that point.

yup same here, thats why i said earlier if you have a big guest list and are already spending alot of money they might do it...I also paid cash but then again it was either cash or check no cc's

We got our Viennese hour for free at the Woodbury Country Club. Its also not going to be on the dance floor so that people can still dance during the viennese hour. They just gave it to us, we didn't ask for it. We are also having a large wedding (we have to guarantee 175 but we have about 230-250 on the list, with a back-up Blist of about 50-60 people) so maybe that was why they threw it in but we're not being charged for it so we were like'sure, why not'

I have the vienes trays on the table. The trays consist of fruit, mini pastries, and cookies. Also an ice cream sundae. We wanted that instead of the Vienese hour.
We went last night and told them we wanted the extra hour that comes with the vienese but we still dont want the food and they accomadated us without a problem.

really thats weird, usually its the other way around...alot of RH's want only cash or checks and dont allow credit cards interesting

I paid by cc for my first deposit and I believe you can pay by cash, check, cc for the rest of the deposits at my RH until the day of your wedding when you have to pay it all in cash

we got things thrown in without asking they just did it.
You can always ask theres no harm, ask them what can they do for you...but for us we got things i think bc we have a large wedding and had added a few things so thats why

Your BM should give you stuff for free and if they dont then just ask. Alot of RH's are good like that. One time when I was visiting with my BM, I asked about the coco fountain and I thought the coco fountain was included in my VH but then my BM told me its not and its like $5 extra and I turned to my FH and said in a in whiney tone, lolol, 'but I want the chocolate fountain, that is what people love', hahaha so she was like OK I'll give it to you, hahahaha. I am working on the white coco fountain now, haha

We got ours thrown in for free. I think this is something you need to get worked out before you sign a contract. It is something you can neg with them. The only reason why they gave it to us is because on the phone the BM quoted us a certain price and I was so happy I went right down to sign the contract (even without DH). She felt so bad when I got there because she quoted me a Fri night price, not Saturday night. So she gave me the Sat night price, but threw in stuff to make up the price difference (VH, martini bar, chair covers, NYC to-go cart, and sushi in the CH).
