I'm thinking of adding this on? Did any of you past brides have it and if so did you think it was worth it? Was it amazing or just ok?

There is so much food you really do not need it but it is pretty amazing. We skipped it and just had platters of cookies, pastry and fruit.

Re: Viennese Table at Westbury Manor
are you doing the Viennese Table with Sylvia Weinstock's cake for $15 or $20pp? if it was to have her cake - i would do it ... otherwise i would pass.. soo much food in WM's package.. that i think i would be a waste unless its really important to you...

Re: Viennese Table at Westbury Manor
we got the trays added into our contract (along with some other stuff). There is a lot of food already and BM told us its not worth it. Many people end up leaving during viennese hour and the food is left over. We are having the plated dessert, wedding cake, pastries/viennese trays on the tables and the carnival cart. FH wants the chocolate fountain but it might be too much and not in our budget. If we can swing it in the end i might add it b/c he wants it. I think you can go without if its too much.

I totally agree! We had their dessert....the cookie craze plus we did a cake from Cakes by Jay which was insanity!!!!! I don't know what we would have done with more food at that point!

Re: Viennese Table at Westbury Manor
I am not doing the Viennese Table because I dont want to add the extra money. I love dessert and would like it if $$ wasnt an issue. But, I thought about it and figure between the dessert plate that is included in my package, the chocolate fountain that they added in, and my cake...that is plenty of dessert for the average person.
Please, no one get insulted...but I think Vieneese Hour is overkill. Like I said...I am a dessert lover, and I LOVE Viennese Hour, but not everyone is a dessert lover, so if you are looking to save some $$$, I think start there.

Re: Viennese Table at Westbury Manor
I'm sorry I have to respectfully disagree with everyone here...
Im going to honestly ask everyone, have you REALLY been to a wedding where they had Viennese Hour and you were upset by that? Did you ever hear of anyone complain UGH I cant believe they did Viennese Hour! Theres just too much food at this wedding!
I had Viennese Hour at my wedding and it was not overkill at all and I got married at Westbury Manor. I didnt have one guest complain that it was too much. It was done BEAUTIFULLY and I still get compliments on my wedding including how gorgeous Cocktail hour was and how sick the Viennese Hour was... EVERYONE enjoyed it... With that being said ANY wedding Ive gone to, EVERY guest gets SOO excited and enjoys Viennese Hour...
And yes you get a lot of food at Westbury Manor, they make sure you and every single guest there is well fed, but everyone knows Viennese Hour is coming they are ready to eat some dessert! People are drinking and dancing and always have room for it!
If you cant afford it thats one thing then of course dont do it, but if you can... Its amazing and WELL WORTH IT!
And Im not trying to offend anyone that didnt have it, but Im just being honest about the fact that Ive never heard anyone complain about it or say how they regret doing it either...

Re: Viennese Table at Westbury Manor
I agree that I have NEVER heard of anyone complaining about a Viennese Hour...who in their right mind would complain about a desert extravaganza??
In my opinion, if you are trying to watch what you are spending...it is not completely necessary...if $$ is no object....enjoy!!
