Question about Villa cake
Does anyone know anything about Villa's cake? Are we able to pick a design that we like and do we have a choice of fillings? Thanks for the info.

Question about Villa cake
Hey Fellow Villa Brides :) When I went to book for my wedding, I was told we can choose from their selection of cakes (which are very pretty) with our choice of fillings (there are quite a few to choose from) or if we see something that we like, within reason, we can bring a picture and they will duplicate it. Another Villa bride I had spoken to had showed me a picture of a cake she brought to them and the picture of the actual cake and they did an amazing job with it. As for how the cake tasted...I went to two of the recent showcases there and they put out both a chocolate cake and yellow cake and each had two fillings. That particular night some of the fillings they had were strawberry, cannoli cream, chocolate pudding/mousse. Both cakes tasted really good. I hope this helps!

I went last night to pick my menus...
I also picked my cake. I would suggest bringing a picture of exactly what you want because they have a very limited selected of photos. They also have a multiple selection of fillings, but you can only have two different per cake and all the layers have to be the same (you can't have one chocolate, one white, one yellow ect.) I'm sure they will at an additional cost. Most of the nicer cake styles have an additional cost. They are suppposed to call me with what mine will cost. It is a 5 tier chocolate cake with canolli and chocolate mousse filling. They also have a selection of about 4 cakes that are $1200.00 because they are made with fondant (from an outside baker). Just let me know if you need any other info. Thanks

Another question...
I didn't think the cake was a separate charge, I thought it came with the rest of the menu?

Thanks for the info
I had no idea how the cake worked. I just assumed that would bring them a picture and they would duplicate it and that was included in the price. I guess I'll just have to wait until I pick out my menu and then show them my picture and see what they can do about it. Thank you for the info. At least I can go there a little prepared now.

Dreamy.....
Yes, the cake comes with the package, however they havr upgrades on some of their cakes, which are an additional fee. I had a chocalate cake with a rasberry filling. I HIGHLY recommend that. I LOVE chocolate. I really wanted cannoli filling, but my mom (who is Italian) hates cannoli filling. GO FIGURE, an Italian that hates cannoli.LOL I chose chocalate, because everyone knows I love it. If you went to their Bridal show, you can taste their cakes. Good Luck!!! If you have any more questions reagrding Villa, let me know. :)

Thanks Diane :)
Thanks for clearing that up :) I will definitely keep the raspberry filling w/chocolate cake as an option!

Cake upgrades..
I think the reason my cake will be additional is because I got and extra tier (5). I think the cascading cakes are extra and a regular 4 tier is included in the price. Thanks Diane for all your help!
