I will make my menu selections in the next 2 months and was wondering what was your favorite foods at Villas for the cocktail hour and dinner. What foods stuck out? Thanks

I am going to tonight`s Bridal Showcase there and they will have some food out. I am having my reception there, May 2003 so I will definitely be paying close attention to the food :) My aunt just went to a wedding there as well, and I remember her commenting on how delicious the Eggplant Rollatini was and of course anything that had to do with pasta was excellent. :) My uncle really enjoyed the seafood trays, like the mussels, shrimp, clams and calamari. Anyways, I will report back after tonight to let you know of anything else :)

I am sorry, I meant Italysgyrl. I am 99.9% sure this is my friend Gina! How funny would that be???? Haven't spoken to her in a long time, but I know she is getting married May 2003 at VB and she is using Tommy Tunes as her DJ. And she is ITALIAN! :-)) We'll see.

You should try and go to one of their bridal showcases. There is one tonight, 2/12, 3/7, 3/19 and 4/3. They have their full cocktail hour and their food is so good that its hard to pick from their list of over 40 selections. You should try for yourslef but there chicken francaise and eggplant rolatini are very good.

some suggestions.....

I got married there in August, and all I have to say is that no matter what you choose it will be delicious!! I definately agree with the eggplant rollatini, and for the pasta station, we had the bow tie pasta with salmon. Im trying to remeber what else we chose. We chose a lot of things that were not part of the main menu, so the guest were not eating the same thing. We also had the calamari, and mussels. When you go there, we had Gabe go over the menu, and he will give you suggestions, and what items are the most popular items. What vendors are you using? Are any of them house vendors? Our DJ was Tommy Tunes-we had Joe (totally recommend him), and for Photography we had Steve from Patken(also recommend him) We used JR video, I was very happy with our video. Lots of Luck!!!! Thanks for all the suggestions! The only house vendors we are using are Steve from Patken and Class One for limos. It is getting close and I am getting so excited! Thanks for all your help.

You wont be disappointed with Steve from Patken. He is a lot of fun to work with. We also used Class One limo. They were wonderful, and on time. My one problem was that one of the limos, the a/c broke down on the way to the church. It wasnt ours.LOL We had the Rolls Royce. Lots of Luck at the Villa!!!!

Ha ha! I know it was you! How are you??? I miss you guys on the train. Can you believe I have less than 4 Months???? How are your plans coming along?? P.S. My friend Danielle got married at VL in September (week of WTC), and the wedding was great! FOOD OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Food Report From Last Night

As promised, I am back with the report from the showcase at Villa last night. As Melissa817 mentioned, they put out the entire cocktail hour. Everything was so delicious, I don`t know where to start. The Penne ala Vodka was excellent, as well as the Chicken Francaise. I also had a slice of the Roast Pork Loin, also very good. My mom had the Eggplant Rollatini, Chicken Marsala and the prosciutto wrapped in mozzarella that were really, really good. Then they came around with rice croquettes (mini riceballs) that were filled with cheese...Yum!! They even had their cake samples out and even that was great. The amount of choices we have on that menu is unbelieveable. I know that I`m going to have a tough time narrowing it all down. Good Luck with your Menu :) Diane-I also booked Tommy`s Tunes for my DJ and we booked Joe as well after I saw a post of yours. Both he and Tommy were there last night and they made me feel like they`ve known me for years. I`m confident that I made a great choice. My mother met them for the first time and she was impressed at how personable they were. Thank you for the recommendation.
