Do a search on this board using 'Villa Lombardi' as the key words. I'm pretty sure I've seen plenty of stuff posted on the place.

my cousin got married there this past summer! Wonderful service and fantastic food! Everything was spectacular!

The other places we looked at were also good. Sherwood, we liked the quality of pictures but you had to but the negatives and the proofs were an extra 200. also my brother is getting married in April and we were all looking together and we asked what the deal would be all the other photographers said about 150-200 off sherwood said well we normally don't do that but we can give you an extra 5x7. If they would have said 150-200 we probably would have stopped looking for a photographer.

Jennifer,

I'm getting married there in August, and have been to 2 weddings there. It was just fabulous.

Tim,
I know you had Spin Around Sound as your DJ. How were they? I have read mixed reviews on the board but wanted to hear from someone who actually used them. We are still searching. Thanks, and congratulations!

You can view my profile on here. My bouquet was blue hydrangea with open ivory roses. The girls were just teh blue hydrangea. I'll see if I can find a picture on my computer of the girls. Can I email it to you.

Who did you have from Spin around Sound?

They were really great. Everybody thought that we were thinking of them when we planned the music. They are one of the more expensive DJ's around, but they have been in business for a long time and they are absolute professionals. They aren't even that much more than the others. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a great DJ. Not a lot of talk or funny stuff - just great music.

I am glad to hear it all worked out so well. We are using Spin Around Sound in 2 months at our wedding and I was wondering: Did you furnish them with a list of songs you wanted? I know they say to try to keep it to 25 songs. After the specified songs, how did they do with the type of music you told them? Also, did you meet with them again close to the wedding or just speak via telephone? Thanks for the help...

Thanks Tim. I think we will be too.

I know the other option is to not apply for dispensation but then our marriage will be only 'approved' by the Church, but not recognized.

Jackie,
I'm also getting married at Villas. I have been to 2 weddings there and there was no problem with the sound coming in from each party. First off, there will be 2 weddings going on at the same time, however, they are not at the same time. You have a choice of a time slot. The first one starts at 6:30-with the reception starting at 7:30, and the second one doesnt start till 8:oo. That is if you are getting married in the evening. Our matre de (spelled that wrong) is Gabe. My friend had him at her wedding and said he was EXCELLENT!! He was always making sure that things were going good. Lots of luck.

Our tentative time schedule is a follows

Jackie,
I am getting married there August 17, of this year. We are getting married on a Friday night at 6:30. I dont see why you cant choose as your matre de. We were able to choose what room we want, because we were the first couple to book that evening. It also depends how many people you are having. Both rooms are pretty much the same. They will provide the space with whatever couple has the most guests. Lots of luck. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask

Tim, what vendors did you use, did you use any house vendors?
