Villa Lombardi's have rules for everything!!!

I can't take it anymore, they are ruingin all of my plans.

I can't throw rose petals, after I figured out how I was goign to make the cones, I was doing it as a cone, but then putting folds in them, and turning them into swares, if you looked down from the top.

But, I can only use biodegradable rice or Bubbles.

I do not want bubbles, so I guess I will have to go with the rice.

They also won't let me make my own menu cards.

They are beginning to get really aggravating

Becasue they ahve ones you can buy from them, but I really don't like them and they are expensive, I think they are 2.50 each and you ahve to roder a minimum of 100.

That is so wrong. That is retarded! They could have also said don't make your own invitations too if that's the case!!

And why would they allow biodegradable rice (that people can slip on) and not rose petals?

Sheesh it's insane how PC all these places are becoming!!

My GF got married there, the reason they don't want you to make your own menus is that they make them for you and charge you for it. That is so wrong. Its a good thing the service and the place makes up for all the rules. Your wedding will be beautiful

Hello, no flowers will be white, I wanted to do yellow, if she was goign to throw, no she does not throw.

My FH told me, if you don't like theri rules, then we won't get married there, which is not happening.

I don't want to have the reception enywhere else, so unfortunatly I have to put up with their dumb rules!!!

At that place i wouldn't be surprisedm they rpoabl;y frisk epole at the door for petals, what if a petal falls on the floor from the centerpieces???

Would Mr. Lombardi have an anurism (sp)???

She will only be 23 months at the time, so I don't think she will even throw petals, I am just hioping she makes it down the aisle.

THe best part is if we have it inside, you can't throw anything, you can only ring bells.

Michelle,

Who did you talk to over at Villa's about the rose petals? I am getting married there next year and asked one of the 'party planners' if I could throw rose petals. They said they had an issue with the colors staining things so I could use white ones or if I wanted color - I could use the silk ones which I think we are going with. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions!
