Villa Lombardi's Review....
I went to a wedding there this weekend...
My friends had there ceremony outside, it was so beautiful! The gazebo area was so pretty. They released white doves it was really very pretty to watch. The only thing I can say that I did not like was the bugs. There were I think mosquitos or nats flying around but after sitting there for awhile you really forget about them. I thought I was going to have bites all over but none were found!
Cocktail hour was right after the ceremony. The room was very big and lots of things to choose from. The food was a B for cocktail hour. I am a picky eater so I didnt eat everything. My FH had sushi and said it was great. I had pasta that was alittle to al dente but the sausage and peppers I ate was very good... We had strawberries and champagne when we first walked in and that was very yummy! (loved the high ceilings in this room!)
After that we went into the reception room. It was so beautiful inside. The fireplace is a great touch in the room!
My food for dinner was A+ I had Lamb (love lamb) FH had Shrimp Oreganata A+, One friend had the chicken dish not sure which one it was but she said it was alittle dry. Everyone else seemed to love what they got. Most people had the Shrimp Oreganata at our table.
They had a DJ and a singer which was a great touch. The singer sang all these beautiful Italian songs.
My friend looked beautiful. She had a gorgeous white wedding dress on with a beautiful blue sash! The blue in the gown was such a nice touch. Ill post pictures as soon as I develop them from my regular camera.
Her bridesmaids were in a lavendar color it complimented the blue in her gown. So pretty...
Overall Villa was great and all you brides getting married there have nothing to worry the place, food and service was GREAT!!!
