Villa Maria in Massapequa

Original post by nylisa

I just heard that Villa Maria in Massapequa burnt down. Is this true? My friend is having her baby shower there on Feb. 8th and she is going crazy. The phone is consistently busy and her being 8 months pregrant I want to try to help but I am not sure if this rumor is true.

Thank you all for your suggestions. My friend is working on trying to get another place if not then she will have the shower in her house and have it catered.

good luck! another place maybe to check out if wantagh isn't too far, would be the Wantagh Inn. I just booked my RD there last week. Pretty reasonable prices. They have a room upstairs as well.

my friend lives like two blocks from there, and said she heard the trucks at 1 or 3am! kinda weird!! who would be at the restaurant then?? I wonder if someone set the place on fire and why????

MY friend AMy had her baby shower there, the food was very good! and there are two rooms up there separated of course, so there was another party but the rooms are very large! she had a lot of people- and I think another party room downstairs! which was hugh
b/c I walked into the wrong baby shower at first I saw all the BRU wrapping paper and assumed! lol I was in the right room but then didnt see anyone I knew and the girl said we have another party upstairs
