Can anyone share their experience with alterations at Village Bridal? Were you happy? Do you think they overcharge?
I think their prices are pretty much in line with others.. They were the first place I went and were sooo nice and suggested dresses for me and I tried on 20-30 dresses and never felt rushed or pressured. and they let you take pics. I did not buy my dress there but if I had found my dress there I would have.
I got my dress there and was very pleased. They were $300-$350 cheaper then other places I had went to but this is when they were Lydia's

They are great!!! I love them....found my dress at Princess Bridal in Farmingdale but ordered it from Babylon because they were so nice there. Everytime I go there, there customer service is great and I never feel like I am driving them nuts although I think I am. Definitely highly recommend them!!!!
But what about Alterations? I found a dress there that I love, the only dissapointing thing is other places are selling it for about $200 cheaper, but if their seamstress is good enough maybe I'll just buy it there anyway.
Sorry I don't know about their alterations but I just wanted to say I loved it there when I went! Great selection of gowns and great service!!! I'm going back there soon.
I am in a wedding in June and the bride ordered our bridesmaid dresses there. After speaking with the consultant (who was so helpful and nice) she told me that bridesmaid alterations are capped at $75. Maybe they have a cap for brides as well. I have not heard anything negative about them.

I love it there. I ordered my dress from them as well as all of the bridesmaid dresses.
