Just was wondering if there was anything 'vineyard' like that you are doing for your wedding? Was trying to think of ideas. What about invitations? Also, are you gals doing a bathroom basket? any other things that are special regarding the vineyard?

sorry im not doing a wedding on a vineyard nor have i ever been to one - I think its a fantastic idea though and can't wait to get invited to one. Such a nice change!

what about wine bottles or wine stoppers as favors? What about cocktail napkins with grapevines on them? I've also invitations with grapevines on them

There is so much you can do.
My invites have a simple grape emblen at the top.
Our cake will have little sugar grapes around the edges.
Wine favors, wine as a favor, wine bottle stoppers.
Wine emblem carried through on menus, placecards, etc...
OOT baskets are going to have a Vineyard scented candles in them as well as advil for the day after the wedding/wine tastings.
We are having a wine tasting at a seperate bar during the cocktail hour.

I didn't get married at a vineyard but my husband's family owns one so it was our wedding theme. We had a grape emblem (with the vines interwined as our initials) on our STDs and invites, menus and placecards. We had grapes and ivy hanging from our centerpieces. We also had grapes and flowers decorating our cake table. We gave wine stoppers as our favors. And we served the wine that comes from my husband's vineyard...which was a huge hit at the wedding. People wanted to order cases of it! We had it imprinted on the menus so the guests knew which wine was which.
Here is pictures of our placecards...I made them myself...
We gave 2 half bottles of wine as our favors, but we didn't do anything else wine related. We blended the vineyard setting with a tropical theme: tropical food, tropical band, hibiscus flowers in the fountains...and then the beautiful vines and grapes in the background! I'm going back to Wolffer tomorrow!! I love having a place that we can go back to over & over
