I've been trying to find a hotel near the vineyards to reserve a block of rooms but haven't been all that successful. The Best Western East End is 189$ a night for a block with a shuttle to and from the reception but I thought that was a bit pricey and I feel so bad making our guests pay that. There is a brand new Holiday Inn Express opening in November but I feel like I really shouldn't be waiting til then to book rooms. Any suggesetions???? HEEEEELP!

Re: Vineyard Brides
I am having my wedding at East Wind and there are very few options for OOT guests. My advice...book the rooms while they are still available! It is no expense to you and if they do not get utilized, the hotel releases the rooms. If the holiday inn opens and has better pricing, book more rooms and provide your guests with the option!
There is also the Hampton Inn Brookhaven, but it is a little far.
Hope this helps!

Re: Vineyard Brides
We blocked rooms at the Best Western and the Hampton Inn for our guests, and we stayed at the Best Western. The hotels are actually pretty nice. Unfortunately there really isn't much choices out there. I agree with the above post - you might as well set up the room blocks and if the Holiday Inn Express does open on time, you can add that in, too. Both the Best Western and the Hampton Inn have a 24-hour cancellation policy, so even if your guests already book rooms there, they can always cancel it.

There is a hotel called the santorini. It is 5-10 minutes from the vineyard caterers. They wanted 179.00 a night, includes breakfast- no transportation

Re: Vineyard Brides
Thanks again, I think I'm going to go with the Best Western b/c of the shuttle.
