i've done it several times with friends, usually just a few of us pile into a car, start at the end and work our way back, to the beginning and then crash at a little motel in town, all the hotels along the 'strip' are relatively expensive

OR you can try liwinetours.com they work out good, but only go to like 3 or 4 wineries....when we go out we usually hit like 8 or 9.......but we go with the guys and one of them usually dont mind driving

We go out to the vineyards all the time! My favorites are Martha Clara, Pugliese, Pindar, and Osprey's Dominion. Raphael and Borghese are also decent, for different reasons. I didn't care for their wine as much though. Bedell was awful and I wouldn't recommend them, they treated us very poorly. If you want any further specifics, just let me know!
