Vineyard Wedding Question
I am newly engaged and want to have a wedding at the vineyards. There are so few reviews though, and that makes me nervous. I am wondering if anyone has attended any weddings at the north fork vineyards that can let me know how it was? I am most concerned that the cooking is done outside.

Re: Vineyard Wedding Question
I've never been but I thought about doing a RH at Martha Clara. The thing about vineyard weddings is that you pay a site fee, plus a caterer. You also have to rent all the plates, cups silverware etc. It's beautiful but for me it wasn't worth it. I live like 10 minutes away from the wineries.

vineyard caterers supplies everything for you. prices are affordable.i have heard nothing but great things about them from friends. i am considering them as well, although their pictures dont move me. i heard that they cant be judged by their pictures.

Re: Vineyard Wedding Question
I was just at a wedding at Raphael Vineyard last summer and it was absolutely gorgeous. The food was amazing and the service was great.I looked at Martha Clara as a possible RH but didn't want to have to bring in all my vendors. Also looked at Vineyard Caterers and really like that venue plus they do everything on site. They were pretty reasonably priced and the outdoor ceremony space was gorgeous.

Re: Vineyard Wedding Question
Our wedding will be small, so Vineyard Caterers is not an option and I guess the size makes it easier to handle bringing everything in from outside. It's just the fact that they aren't really equipped that has me worried. I just can't understand how things will play if it really rains.

Re: Vineyard Wedding Question
if you have an unlimited budget, look into BEDELL Cellars! So gorgeous and it has a permanent outdoor 'tent' where your guests would have cocktails and dinner. It is my dream location, but the site fees were ridiculous. Everything is on their website, so google it.Good luck!!

This is actually one of our top choices, we went and looked last week. But they do not have a kitchen on premises, and cooking is done around the side of the building by an outside caterer under a cook tent. They do the same thing at Macari. This is what has me really weary. Can the food possibly be good, and also, will a cook tent really do the job if it rains more than just a drizzle?
