I can't seem to find what I like or what I think works with the wedding. Its outdoors, and so I feel the cardboard boxes are just out of place.
I think I want it to be outside on a post or something. I thought of using birdcage, but they kind of freak me out (bird phobic lol).
The place is really private and secluded so I'm not terribly worried with anyone walking away with it, but it should be reasonably secure from wind and children bumping into it.
i used a wooden chest for my box...it was a DIY...what about an antique style mailbox that you could hang on a post somewhere? Or a small wine barrel that you could cut a slit in the top?

yes at a vineyard, but its daytime, outdoors, under bright white tent, I just want it very fresh. I really didnt' like the dark vineyard tasting rooms and cellars, but I love the countryside.
I love that little wine barrel, but I think its a little too 'dark' ... Great idea though, I have to let it sit in my head a bit
