Vineyards

Has anyone ever gone to the vineyards in April? If you have, how was it? I had told MOH I wanted to go, but now am worried it might be quiet. I love going out there and it's usually because we can sit outside and listen to the live music too. What do you think?

I really want something low key, not exactly a wild night out.

Fh's parents live out there year round now, so we frequent the vineyards all the time

But usually from dec through the end of april, it definitely is quiet. I would check out the larger vineyards like Pindar and Martha Clara to see if they have any events the weekend you are looking at. I have to admit, it is nicer in the warmer weather b/c places like the two above mentioned, have pavilions with live music and you can bring food and just relax. But on the other hand, in the summer its so crowded and lots of traffic, so each has its pros and cons.

I usually go once a year with my MOH and our moms and April is q-u-i-e-t, but they do sometimes have tastings and stuff so def chk ahead of time!!
