Vintage Posters- Need Help Choosing

I am planning on using Vintage posters for decorating my 1/2 bath. The only colors in the room now are burgandy and gold (those are on the bathroom accessories). I like bold colors, since the room is white. Here are the possibilities. I need to narrow it down to 2 (one on each wall). What do you think?

#1

Oh, I will frame the two that I choose. They wont be tacked to the wall or anything

Marcella, its funny you say that as I was just looking at some vintage travel posters from Monaco that I liked also.

Do you think I can mix themes? ie one of the above and a vintage travel? Will the 'vintage' feel of the two tie them together?

Edited: OK, heres some more.

I think it'll def tie in together.. I just think that 'travel' fits it best, you know? you can think of these exotic places and contemplate your next trip, while sitting on the bowl?

I like the automotive and transportation ones too. =)

For a bathroom, I'm drawn to the vintage prints with women in them...2 & 4 from the first set and 1 from the second.

Im thinking about putting the paris one in my bedroom

I wuold tend to suggest not putting any food posters in your bathroom. I dont know why but food + toilet dont mix to me.

But any of the travels will be cool. Or what about a vintage Vogue cover?

Stef, my DH said the same thing. He does not want to look at bread in the bathroom I am leaning towards the Paris one myself. I like the Havana one as well.

Curly, can you come over and decorate my house? I need help

LOL - I feel the same ones about the food ones too...like awkward in the bathroom. From the first group I like #2 and #4. In the second group I like Paris and Havana best..I also like the last one with the car.

Re: Vintage Posters- Need Help Choosing

I love love love vintage posters- but I like them more for a kitchen/ dining area. I personally love # 4

but for the color scheme ( unless the walls were burgandy)- I would choose #3 - that is if you go with the wine posters
