VIP BOOKED

So I'm new to this but a friend tipped me off to this site and I decided to lurk a bit before posting. However, I couldn't hold back because I booked this past weekend at VIP Country Club. Love it, love the staff, love the deal. Can't wait to get to work with these people! Anyone have suggestions for vendors that they have either seen there or worked with at that venue?

Congrats!!! we were between VIP and Russo's, but ultimately went with Russo's because its sooo much closer to us

i loved vip though, the front is beautiful and the inside is so classic!

I loved it from the moment I saw it. Basically, I just got the right feeling when I walked in. I saw 7 other places after it and I ended up going back to #1. Sometimes it's just meant to be. They just set the bar way too high for others to compete.

Where is Russo's? Where do you live?

thats how i was with russo's, i wanted it there since before we started looking lol..... russo's is in howard beach (queens) and i live in brooklyn... so its literally 15 min from my house, where as vip was 40 min at least and most of my guests are from brooklyn so it actually worked out really well!

VIP was one of our top choices too! The outside and lobby is so freaking nice and i looooove the cocktai hour room.

See I live in Queens and everyone but one Uncle is outside of Westchester. I have a lot of out-of-towners and foreigners (my fiance is from abroad) and my side is mostly from LI and Upstate (where I went to school). So I figured to hell with it. There are too many people to please and I am all about just pleasing myself at this point. Hey, I threw them a bone and made it the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I am telling the LI people to think of it as a Mem Day vacation to the beach in Westchester. I don't think they are buying it, but I'm still happy.
