VIP Country Club Menu Packages

VIP Country Club Menu Packages

Hey all!

I just joined this site, however i had visited many times over the past week researching a few reception places. Initially i was trying to decide among a few reception places VIP Country Club, Fountainhead, Sinapi Ceola Manor and Westbury Manor (Long Island). However, now i had finally narrowed it down to VIP because it appears they are offering more for your buck and plus it is an absolutely gorgeous facility right next to the LI sound.

Anyway, I am now stuck on their menu packages (The Classic and The Deluxe). There's a $20 diff per person between both packages. I was wondering if i can get anyone's feedback on which menu package they went for and how much are you paying per person. Were you able to switch any of the items between both packages? Which one should I pick for a 70 guest wedding ceremony and reception?

I am going to be a Sunday afternoon/evening bride (start at 3pm) . So I am not sure how much i should splurge for the food, drinks and cocktails. Let me know what your thoughts are.

Maybe try doing a search for VIP and FM the brides directly who have used them, since they would know the menu information. Good Luck!

Girls- she prolly just spent a lot of time looking at the threads and not posting. its not that hard to figure out what BUMP is- lets give her the benefit of the doubt.

I have not heard of VIP country club, but try doing a search in the reviews section to see if anyone else has gotten married there.

Goodluck!!

Re: VIP Country Club Menu Packages

I guess i don't understand the questions or accusations. If i was an employee of VIP, would i even ask about the VIP menu? Was there a problem with VIP before or somethin to get all of you riled up like this? If so, can you please let me know because I am planning to go there today to make my deposit and until now i was really gamed on choosing them.

If you don't believe me, you can check my login name on many wedding websites because i had posted on different discussion forums before and I am trying to come to a final answer. Check out www.onewed.com and you will see my concerns i had about my Sunday wedding and polls about deciding between a couple of locations, one Westbury and Ceola Manor and now these other two places. I just bumped into this site a couple of days ago, after i had to googled VIP and Fountainhead and this was the only site that had some real opinions about both of them.

So can you all let me know wth is up and stop leaving me in the dark.

I had been all of the reception locations including the Westbury Manor one. I was really trying to go for the Westbury but they told me that they do not allow afternoon/evening wedding ceremonies, so i had to knock them off the list. They were my absolute favorite for the money they were asking because it included a lot of the decorations but since no afternoon ceremony, then a no-go for me.

The reason why I had questions about the menu packages for VIP is because I am not sure if they are giving enough to accomodate my wedding size. The basic package includes so little, so i may have to pay extra to bump up that basic package to avoid getting the deluxe package, which seems to have too much and a bit costly.

Re: VIP Country Club Menu Packages

I had used this forum's search engine many times but i see a lot of the VIP topics/threads from other members asking general questions or giving a summary of their review. I am glad that a lot of the New Yorkers here like their food. I will the suggestions here and pm (private message) the VIP brides to see which package they decided to use. I guess I will also ask them about the tents too, on another forum, www.theknot.com website, i saw someone mention that they put some kind dirty tent on the second floor next to the chapel. So i am bit concerned about that because I kind of wanted my ceremony to be on the second floor but there are other options and i have time to deal with that later.

Thanks for your responses ladies!
