Did anyone get excited about his prices before they went and was disappointed when they got there - all his albums are slip-ins. If you want the nicer books for you and your parents it is about 600 more. I think I was asking too many questions for him and he was getting annoyed. Sorry I don't want to be suprised with extra charges at the end.
If you want to get a library bound book it is just a little extra. I wasn't happy with the packages so I told him what I wanted and asked him to give me a price. I was very happy with the price and we booked him on Saturday.
Now I'm a little disappointed. I have an appointment with him tonight (I will be rescheduling) & his prices were exciting me to. Oh well. Is anyone able to tell me what his package prices normally include? Photography is really getting to me because I had really thought I was booked with someone, but my Mom went to sign the contract for me(she is a better budgeter than me so we have a joint account that I put all my wedding money into & she goes & pays as needed) & found things in the small print that she didn't like(I loved their photography, but it was the first one I looked & there were somethings in the contract that I didn't like, esspecially since they weren't mentioned at our previous meeting). So now the hunt goes on, I just wish it was easier, but it isn't, nothing has been so far with my planning. Sorry this post has turned into a long vent, I guess I am more frustrated then I realized.
All the albums are slip ins. If you want nicer parent albums, I think he said about $200 each more. To upgrade the bridal album it is $350. And don't even think about the lowest video. After that appointment I went and booked with the most amazing photographers. They are actually up and coming so there prices are more than reasonable. Their base package included 2 photographers, 1 videographer, beautiful bridal album (not slip in), 2 parent albums, thank you cards 20x24 picture, etc for what other places charge for one photographer. The video is unbelievable, he used to be a TV commercial director. I can't talk about them enough. I am getting the next package up. It includes a 2 day shooting (wedding day and casual day). On the casual day, we get 2 photographers and 1 videographer at any location we want. Duetwedding.com is the website. GO TO THEM BEFORE YOU BOOK WITH ANYONE - YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY. I had the same reaction you did and I also felt like he was annoyed when I was asking specific questions. I decided he just wasn't right for me. I was beginning to get upset because I couldn't find a photographer who felt right, but a few days later I came across the perfect photographer for me. If you keep looking you'll find the right photographer.
