We went to see Bill Minnick photography and Hilite Studios. We really liked Bill Minnick and was impressed by his work. I posted his packages a few days ago but I will post them again. He was very easy to talk to and is willing to customize packages. We are definitely leaning towards him.
Hilite was ok. I was not sure what to expect. We met with them in their Commack office. Mike was the person we spoke to. I personally did not like his presentation. He continually asked my and FI what we thought of the work and if we could see the clarity of the pictures. We both got so annoyed. The pictures we saw were nice. I think that if you are on a budget and want traditional photographs then this is a good place. I wish I could show you what Mike wrote when he was writing down the package for me. He wrote in the price quote '28 years in business; Wonderful quality; Excellent prices; highly recommended'! I looked at FI and just made a face. Like I said, the work was not bad. I was just turned off by the presenation. There was another photographer there who was much more subdued. I think I was just very taken with Bill Minnick
