Visited my 1st RH - Thatched Cottage

went to see my first hall today, historical thatched cottage in centerport. They are offering a winter package (jan/feb). $100 a head includes tax and gratuity as well as a dj, centerpieces and a vienesse table. The food package was great...they offer an endless amount of food and options. the cocktail room was different, they are re-doing it to give it a Tuscany theme. looked nice but had a little bit of a dungeon feel. we werent too crazy about the actual reception room, looked like it could get a little snug if you had a lot of people.

oh anyone looking into red velvet cakes...the cake is included in their package and they said they can do red velvet at no extra charge!!

Wow that price is pretty cheap to include all those things! thats great though

do you have anymore appts to look at any other RHs?

WOW THATS AMAZING!!! and I have been to weddings at Thatched Cottage... GORGEOUS LOVE IT THERE

that sounds a bit high to me for those months to be honest. are you looking at a holiday weekend and/or a saturday night? where else do you have on your list?

we priced saturday or sunday afternoon as well as saturday night. its all the same...flat 100pp with all that included.
tuesday we're going to the venetian yacht club and also sandcastle. i also wanna check out majestic gardens, flowerfields and bridgeview. anyone have experience with these places?

I'm in favor of Thatched Cottage! I'm getting married in less than 3 months, and it's been a great experience with them. No problems yet!

I'm getting married at the Sand Castle. I've been to a few weddings there, and it was great!!! The place is so nice and the people there are great to work with.

nooo but it includes the dj and flowers! that saves u two thousand at least if not more! plus usually viennese hour is so much more money to add that on!
