Visited Sand Castle and Floral Terrace

We went to Floral Terrace first. The ballroom is beautiful but I wasn't wowed by the rest and I didn't like the location of the place.

We stopped by the Sand Castle next even though we didn't have an appointment. We loved this place. They have two rooms right now. The bigger of the two has a castle theme which I loved b/c of how unique it is. Also, I'm a disney girl at heart and I love anything castle related. The other room which is upstairs is also really nice but they are planning on changing that into a new cocktail room in the next year and then they will only have the one main ballroom downstairs. That means they'll only have one wedding at a time. We have a lot to think to think about b/c we really loved it but it's a little more than Chateau Briand which we also loved.

Has anyone else visited or been to a wedding at the Sand Castle?

I have been to a wedding there in the larger room. It was 3 or so years ago but I was pleasantly surprised by the food - they even walked around with second main courses! I hear they give you a lot of food for your money!

My sister got married at CB and the food there was INCREDIBLE. She did go all out on upgrades but she is always raving about how great the people there were and she was Tom's biggest fan!
