thursday me and FH are going to looking at halls for the first time.. i was just wondering how long i should expect to be at each halls.. i dont want to make appointments and not give myself enough time at each one... so any advice would be really helpful.

My brother and sister both told me not to look at more than 3 halls on the same day because they'll all blur into each other.

thanks for the advice, right now we only have an appointment with chateau briand but i was hoping to go to another hall thats close by since we would be out there, but i dont think id be able to handle more then 3 in a day haha id get all jammed up.

i would say at least 45 min when I was at each hall. Most of them were an hour, and one hall we were there for 2 hours! but the usual for me has been between 45min-1 hr.

When we went to Chateau Briand we were there for an hour, though they kept us waiting for 20 minutes so that factored into the time.

i gave myself 2 hours between each hall if i did multiples in a day. it accounts for an hour to an hour and a half at each hall, then travel time.

we went to about 2 halls a day. We stayed at each for about 40 min.

You figure an hour each and if you are going to see places after that then you should factor in travel time. You can do about 3 on a week day after work. Weekend alot more

i would say dedicate at least an hour for each hall.....u dont really wanna rush through them ...make sure u have time to look at everything

I spent a little over an hour at each place. Mostly because I wanted to negotiate the prices then and there to see what the best offer I could get was. But, then again, I never have been a patient one :)
