Do you give your baby vitamins? If so, how old was he/she when you did? Mine is 13 months and my mom said we should be giving him a vitamin, but the doctor never mentioned it.

If your child has recently been put onto Milk, some Dr.'s prefer to wait to see how baby is handling the newfound substance before placing them on vitamins.
Alex had a prob. with whole milk and was put onto 2%... Been there ever since.. after his belly was better, the doc gave him vitamins, liquid... After a month the baby wouldnt take them and the Dr. gave me chewables.
You can always call the Dr. to see what they say!! Good luck!

My ped has me give the baby Trivisol so he can get vitamin D. She said since I am breastfeeding he doesn't get vitamin D from me.

My pediatrician started Tara on vitamins at 6 months. I had changed pediatricians since Luke was smaller but the other ped started him at 1 year.
