WHO IS THIS @SSHOLE HOSTING THE VMAS???? I don't really pay attention to popular music - i have sirius and only listen to the stations i like - so please don't persecute me for not knowing who he is - but he has said several STUPID things tonight, the last being a comment about cherry chapstick that I think was completely VILE for television.

the vma's this year just s*ck so far, i agree about the set up i really dont like it

its best when its in NYC, even when they did miami the set up was horrible and just gave me a headache watching it.

its best when its in NYC, even when they did miami the set up was horrible and just gave me a headache watching it.

Chris and I were just saying this. They need to bring it home to NYC. The Miami ones were horrible. I dont even know how the kept their makeup on in that heat.

I listen to coffeehouse, spectrum (my fave), disorder, chill, new country, jam on, pulse ...

honestly i am soooo out of touch with the stuff they play on z100 etc. I NEVER HEARD 'umbrella' until like 2 months ago. I actually think i should listen to more of that kind of stuff, it's not bad for the gym. i am a singer-songwriter type of person normally.

Could they make the 'back lot' look any faker?????

It IS the first time I have watched the show in about 10 years. And the first time I watched mtv in about that long too. I think it's all too much, now I know why my mom didn't want me to watch it when I was younger - and it was NOTHING compared to what it is now. Just surprises me that they allow the talk about d!cks and chapstick and masterbastion. Maybe I am old fashioned.

Great stations on Sirius. I listen to mostly Alt Nation, Lithium, and the 90's Rock (dont remember the name) Sometimes I feel out of touch with regular stations too. Im so sick of hearing the same 10 songs every hour.

yeah the other stuff on mtv is pretty out there. ANd lets not forget the videos out there, you have half naked girls shaking their A**, its the norm. If parents are smart, they wont let their kids watch mtv.

plus the shows like real world and all that is pretty out there too
