Ok so I just spoke w my florist and found out that there is a shortage of flowers due to the volcano in Europe!! And of course where are my flowers from HOLLAND!!! As much as I want to freak out right now Im not-- He said not to freak yet and stay calm that he'll be able to handle it...I told him I dont want to know anymore to speak w my BM to make and decisions! lol
don't worry - florists know what they're doing ... even if they can't use your original ones, they will still find different, but still equally beautiful ones for your big day.
I am sure they will work it out! It stinks but think in the winter there are snow storms that keep planes from landing and there are always flight delay's cancellations... etc. I am sure your florist knows what he/she is doing and it will all be fine.
Don't freak out... my FH is a flower importer (wholesaler) and we saw that KLM - which is the airline they use to bring the flowers over has been doing test runs and they should be able to start sending over flowers this week. Plus florits know what they are doing so dont worry it will all work out!!

I found this out too but my florist also ordered flowers from South America as a back up plan. You should be ok cuz you still have another week or so. Hopefully Ill get my flowers too!!! lol
