I know it can be done, but just be prepared for a crazy 5 months... but then again, that's what we're here for!!

I was engaged in October and was married in April. It's not that big of a deal. Just get the hall and order your dress first off - the date will depend mostly upon the hall and their availability... the rest will work out just fine.

I had about 135 guests and a fairly formal wedding with all the 'trimmings' and did everything myself.

I would say you have to retain control of the situation, and on most levels the less you give out to others for 'help' with the better off you will be. You may also want to consider a Small bridal party.

I think that you can definitely do it., but you wouldn't have time to enjoy being engaged and the planning process. Just let yourself know that it's going to be hard and stressful.
