I just got engaged i want a Feb wedding do you think this Feb is to soon? or should i wait till 07.

You can do it. But you have to realize that you'll be getting your dress off the rack, or rush. You'll also be getting your vendors because they are open. Does this mean your wedding will be bad? No! But you have to realize you might not get exactly what you want.
Both my brother's pulled off weddings in a few months and their weddings were amazing!!!!! It can be done, but you need to negotiate!!!!!!!!!

Go for it, I think Leonards has a date open for Feb 17... Someone had to cancel - search this board or the 08 board for Leonard's. I think you could definitely do it!!!!! Especially using all the fabulous ladies on this board. Hit up the vendor board too - see what photogs, DJs, video, florists are available, etc... I def think it's possible!!!

yes...it can be done--but you will spend the next 5 months (if you do it w/o a wedding planner or DOC) going quite CRAZY.
just ask yourself if you can handle all the stress...because it WILL be tough.

It can be done-ask yourself-do you want to wait till 2008, or do you feel you want to get married sooner than later. It's really your call. If you have the time-then do it-if not, then I would wait.

I just got engaged at the end of July and my wedding is in NOv IT CAN BE DONE you just really need to know exactly what you want. I booked all my vendors except limos and bought my dress in 1 week

I think you might be pushing it... How Many people are you planning on having.
Where are you planning on getting your dress??? David's Bridal???
I ordered my Dress in September on 05 and it came in in May of 06. They might have to put a Ruch on it, if you order it from a Bridal shop...

I think that it great! We got engaged May 28 and were pretty much done but Sept 1. If we could afford it we would have pushed it up to November. PS not all dresses take forever. I ordered mine on Saturday and it will be here Feb 1. So get a move on chicka!!

You can do it. My brother and sister-in-law pulled it off in about 6 months about 7 years ago.
You will probably be stressed though.

It's possible, we had friends who got engaged on Valentines' Day 05 and they got married 6 months later.
If you know what you want, you can definitely do it! I ordered my dress from RK bridal and it came in in 6 weeks.
