Hi all, I don't post too much anymore but wouls like your ladies opinions....For the votive candles....Should I use real candles or battery operated candles....I am thinking for safety and no mess and they look like real candles in the glass with the velum paper over it

I think I would go with battery operated, because they don't get hot. I would be afraid people may burn their hands on the glass. I'm actually going to use these in my CP's. I found a bunch in Eckerd soon to be RiteAid. I got 2 tealights for 1.99.
I know oriental trading and craft stores sell them in bulk too.

I don't like the way the battery operated ones look. It is not that bad the real ones. I used them but I bought the ones with the stems that look like wine glasses. They were a big hit.

I would def. use real candles. People will be careful. And I think it will be sooo much prettier! HTH!
