Did you try the little double-sided sticky dots that people use for scrapbooking? Something like this but I know you can get it at Michaels or AC Moore

We used double sided tape - Scotch to be exact and it was easy.

i used double sided on my pillar candle and had no issues. Went on so easy! But they make those scrapbooking glue dots or squares..try that!

Oh Boy, I bought a bunch of votive holders because I found them for .25/piece.. and have come to realize that they won't work because they have a slight curve..

I am going to try writing the names with permanent paint pens.. i have a family member who has good handwriting. going to test it out and see how it goes. Not sure how it will work.. If not then I too will prob go the paper place cards route as well.

FOr my votive place cards I used clear shipping labels from Staples and it looked just like vellum and it was much easier to manipulate.

wow thanks for all the suggestions! I bought the double sided scotch tape...but then someone told me regardless of the tape its going to melt off...so I dont know! For those of you that used the scotch...it didnt burn off?
And for the slightly bent ones...michaels sells the curved already cut vellum. Theres no curve in mine of I definitly would have went for them. Ill let you know when I begin the task how it works! Any more suggestions please let me know!

Layla-

I used the Scotch double sided tape and didn't have any problems. The heat didn't melt them off. A year and a half later, our friend's parents still have the candle in their living room and it looks perfect!

Email me if you want me to help you.
