I know a couple of people have mentioned getting frosted votive holders and making clear labels with people's name a table assignment. Has anyone tried it yet? How did they come out? I'm thinking that's got to be a lot easier than trying to print on vellum and then glueing it to the votive holder.

Re: votive placecards
Hi Nicole,
I am sorry I have been meaning to FM. I tried the clear labels, they didn't come out to hot. They bubbled and didn't go on smooth.
So, Laura from LA Productions suggested handwriting the names and the table #'s right on the frosted votive holder.
She is getting a quote for me from some she knows who does calligraphy. But it looks like I am heading towards that idea. I

Wow - that seems like it would be hard to do. Can you FM me when you hear back from her?

OK, thanks Peabody. I may just scrap the whole idea because I don't have a lot of money, or time to spend on this project. I guess I'll ry to figure something else out.

I am wrapping my votives in tulle and putting the placecards on as tags. I just finished the votives last night and they look great!!!!!
