WHO IS WRITING THERE OWN VOWS? I WAS THINKING ABOUT IT BUT DONT KNOW WHERE TO START AND I THINK IF I WAS TO READ THEM I WOULDNT MAKE IT THROUGH B/C I WOULD EITHER CRY OR JUST FAINT FROM NERVOUSNESS.

I am a fan of the traditional vows and have always pictured saying them to the man I love. I can't wait
FH and I are writing our own vows and I think that's the part I'm most excited about. There is just so much I need to tell him about how he has changed my life and made me believe in uncondtional love. The only catch was that I have to go first because hearing his vows will make me cry more than saying my own.
We decided we are going to write our own vows also. Advice I've received is just to not make them lengthy.
As much as I would love to, I dont think I would be able to go past the first word bc i will be crying histerically.

DH and I wrote our vows together. We said teh same vows instead of seprate ones. Actually, we wrote our whole ceremony! If you can its totally worth it. Who cares if you cry, its your wedding day! I'm the biggest sap in the world and I actually managed to get through it!!
We both wrote down quotes we liked or things we thought were important to include in our vows and sat down and put it all together!
Here were our vows:
I (name) choose you (name) to be my eternal partner in life,
and to you I promise this:
I will be your comrade in adventure,
your ally in conflict,
your student and your teacher.
I will be your strength in need,
your understanding in confusion,
your consolation in disappointment,
your greatest fan and your sincerest critic.
