Vows

I am thinking of going the write our own vows route.....is it easier said than done? Is it bad to find things others wrote like poems and use them? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!!

FH and I are writing our whole ceremony ourselves and it't a lot more work then i expected it to be. In the end though i think writing any part of your own ceremony makes it really special. I just think with all the details I focus on for decoration and dresses, I should really put in that amount of effort in for the ceremony because its the most important part of the whole day!

So yeah my advice is to go for it!

I have advice for after you write them...

My MOH write her own vows for her wedding and she practiced reading them to us (her bridal party) the day before and the morning of.
You will probably be more emotional than you know that day and it will be good to have a few rehearsals under your belt.

So true! Thank you for the suggestion!

I think it is probably a lot of work (FH & I aren't doing this) but it'll be soo worth it- def adds to the ceremony- makes it more special

Thank You! I am so up in the air about this. I want to not too sure how my groom feels about it. Never got a direct answer from him! LOL
