I have a question..how are you doing your vows? Traditional or Writing your own?
I really want to write our own, but FH is against it. He’s really shy and doesn’t want to write and read something so personal in front of everyone. Ever since he said no, I’ve been obsessing over it. How do I change his mind??

I'm sticking with traditional!!! I think it's romantic to say the same vows my parents did, FH parents did, grandparents..etc. etc. etc.

We're writing our own. Our whole ceremony is actually going to be written just for us by Pastor April which I love! Will be so personal and romantic.
Erika, Pastor April will read our vows for us if we choose. She'll say something like 'These are your beautiful brides words to you..'. Maybe u can look for an officiant to do that for you if your FH is too nervous/shy.

We're going to do our own. I remember when my oldest sister got married, I was sooooo bummed bc I never knew the vows I was used to hearing on tv weren't the 'catholic' vows. So, since we're getting married at Fox Hollow and on our own terms, we're creating a blend of stories, poems, our feelings, etc.
