Ladies...If you are trying to book a romantic venue for a wedding and or a honeymoon and were thinking of using Royal Caribbean, think twice. I just got back from the Bermuda cuise that ended up going to CANADA!!!! There were at least 3 wedding partied on board, 2 of which had to postpone their wedding because their families were waiting for them in Bermuda and we were headed north to CANADA!!!!!! Sorry about that. It's been o the news all day today about not getting any compensation, oh wait, we did get a credit of $45.20. That doesn't even cover a day worth of drinks, especially when they are almost $5.00 a pop. I have much more to tell, but I don't want this to get pulled so if you need to FM me and I'll be happy to divulge my stories.

There were a tropical storm heading for the Bermuda area so they decided that Canada would be the only logical solution. Talk about an entire ship of drunk and angry people!
FH and I bought that extra 'cancel for ANY reason' insurance. it was a lot more $, but we felt it was worth it. we'll be going to Jamaica at the end of hurricane season.

I just read that article and it just gets me even more angry! They posted on their website the morning of that the intinerary MIGHT BE changed and that a final decision would be made by noon. The boat was scheduled to leave by 6:00 and they made a final decision at noon! I was already on my way to the dock so were many many other people. I have the insurance but it doesn't seem to help. We were given NOTHING on board to help lighten the mood. The captain actually had the nerve to say that he wasn't aware of the mood of the ship until Wednesday. Wednesday!!!! We left on Sunday. By then it had escalated into something huge!

I pray nothing like this happens. I am so sorry that this happened and put a damper on your HM. So I assume there was alot of cabin time with you and DH!!! LOL hehehehe
The captain shoudl have done something for hsi passangers, something to lighten the mood. Even if meant apologizing every hour on the hour!!!
