maybe they are having it sent to your house. I just wrote in the other post I'm thinking some of my co workers may bring gifts I hope they send them to my house. I'm wondering how I will get them back to the hotel and then home the next day

the MD and Bridal attendents can take care of the 5 gifts-- they can simply be placed in the bridal suite

I know I am going to have this problem with FH side of the family/friends..... what we have planed between me and chrissi is that if we get any gifts she is just going to put them in the bridal suiet because I just get a little stand to put my card box on and that is it.

Did they tell you about the rug themselves, or did someone deliver the message?
I would take the same route as the way you heard about it - if they mentioned to you they were giving you a rug, I'd say it's ok to revisit it with them - even if you don't talk a lot, you're planning a wedding, you need to know certain details . It's a very reasonable question, I think...
If someone else in his family mentioned it, maybe consult with them or someone else in the family you're closer to, and ask what they think that family member might do, or even ask them to find out for you.

Someone else mentioned it and I don't really feel comfortable asking them questions.. FH seems unconcerned.

as for the other gifts - i would have them pout in the suite, or, if they are small enough, underteh table cloth forhte card table... as for the rug...I don't know. put it in the suite- but then i am really clueless as to what you do with it after the wedding as far as transporting it is concerned.
