WAHOO!! FIniehed 'Marital preparation' class AKA PRE-CANA!

Tonight was out last night...Your Sexuality was tonights topic and Natural Family Planning...about charting and mucus and stuff...it was a little TMI...The couple who spoke was about 45 or so, and I just did not wanna vision them 'doing it' nevermind giving us vague details...uugh..

Could I ask what it was all about? FH and I talked to the priest for the first time yesterday and he said someone would contact us about pre-cana in a few weeks.

FH is very nervous about it b/c he is not catholic. Do you have any advice to calm his nerves??

Well, we did it here in RI...but I think its thne same everywhere..

FH is not catholic either--he is jewish...but it was not too bad....basically a bunch of married couples each tooka topic...spirituality, sexuality, faith, family, finances and budgeting etc...it was not so bad..we listend to them talk, then FH and I (and all the other couples) split to fill out 'hers:' and 'his' pages..and then we got back together and compaired....between the 2 of us..not in front of anyone else...then onto the next subject, and teh same thing...they do (like always in church) preach a little bit much if you ask me (I am spiritual, but not overly religious)

But, it was really nothing to be nervous about...it was not overly personal, we just did not want ot hear about these people talking about mucus, and their sex life...

My mom has told me that when I'm 45 we'll still be doing it.. eww.. but I was making fun of her, because I DO NOT WANT TO PICTURE MY MOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EXACTLY CRYSTAL!!!!!!!! But it was funny, the girl sitting nextg to me and myself were like little kids, every time the husband kept talking about the mucus being stretchable from your thumb to your pinky, we lost it...like he really enjoyed that or soething..and a few days later, it was not stretchy anymore...and etc...etc...
